Prior to
starting Accession International, Derek was a field grade officer
in the United States Marine Corps and served in both Operations
Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Most recently, from 2004 -
2006 he served as the U.S. Marine & Naval Attaché to Nigeria.
Derek also had the distinction of being the Executive Vice
President, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for IPX
Communications & International Systems where he was responsible
for all Business Development operations throughout the
aforementioned regions. |

Prior to joining AI,
Steve served as a Lawyer/Lobbyist with notable K Street firms,
including Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, L.L.P.. Steve
continues his advocacy service with Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney,
P.C., Steve served several years in the White House during the
first Clinton Administration as the Deputy Assistant to the
President, Deputy Director, Office of Public Liaison. Steve also
served in the Senate as Chief Counsel and Staff Director for U.S.
Senator Arlen Specter. Additionally, Steve has the honor of being
the former Commissioner of The American Battle Monument
Commission, 1995-1996. He is also a retired field grade officer in
the United States Army. Steve is also a graduate of
Princeton University and holds a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown
Law. |

Prior to joining AI,
Paul was with Allstate Investments, LLC - responsible for
underwriting/monitoring private placement investments for Allstate
Insurance Company’s $12 billion private placement portfolio making
investments in over 75 companies domiciled on 5 different
continents. Paul has the international distinction of being a
former Assistant Professor at the School of Business & School of
Foreign Languages - SHANGHAI INSTITUTE OF FOREIGN TRADE in China.
Paul also manages our South American operations based out of Belo
Horizonte, Brazil. |

Prior to joining AI,
Roland served as the Executive Director of Schlumberger Nigeria
Limited. Immediately prior to this position, he was General
Counsel and Secretary of NPTest Inc. (“NPTest”), a NASDAQ traded
semiconductor testing company, prior to its acquisition by
Credence Systems Corporation for $660 million in 2004. Before his
NPTest appointment, Roland was the Corporate Counsel at
Schlumberger Limited in New York where he served as transaction
counsel on a variety of strategic acquisitions, divestitures and
debt financings. Roland was also previously a Corporate Associate
at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP (“Skadden Arps”) in
New York where was actively engaged in some of the largest and
most significant transactions in history. Prior to joining
Skadden Arps, Roland was a law lecturer at the Nigerian Law
School. Roland also has the distinction of holding both a
Master of Laws degree in International Business Law from the Queen
Mary and Westfield College of the University of London in London,
England, where he was a British Council Chevening Scholar, and a
Master of Laws degree from Harvard Law School. |
